While my natural bias would be to question whether it is worth pursuing publication and dissemination of the research results, I think the author’s article makes a significant point in that there are not enough research articles with small effect sizes or that show no effect.  If I don’t believe the results occurred as a result of poor treatment fidelity or inaccurate data collection, I think the ethical thing to do is be as transparent as possible with the raw data, so that other practitioners can understand the variability of efficacy within a specific treatment or technique.
