Baseline: Walked on treadmill for 45 minutes at a speed of 2 with incline of 2.

Overall goal:  Run on treadmill for 45 minutes at the speed of 6 with an incline of 2.

Incremental goal 1: 45 minutes at a speed of 3 for three weeks

Incremental goal 2: 45 minutes at a speed of 4 for three weeks

Incremental goal 3: 45 minutes at a speed of 5 for three weeks

Antecedent interventions:

1. Meal prep dinners on the weekend so more time is freed up in the evening to exercise

2. Buy comfortable clothing to exercise in that are dedicated only for exerise.

 

Rewards

1. Watching a favorite show after each successful run

2. Receive a massage after three successful consecutive days

3. Have wife give a gift card if goal is met for the entire week.

4.  When incremental goal is met, can buy a new game for self

5. When terminal goal is met, then a trip to the beach is the reward.
