As Brian’s supervisor, I arrange to meet with him on Monday afternoon to discuss the most recent session overlap we did together. I share with him my observations of tasks he performed well and at a level of competency.  I also identify an area for future focus to help Brian continue to improve in an area, and provide specific direction on how he can do so. For example, I share with him that an area to focus future attention on is to maintain neutrality when doing an error correction. Following an error correction, it is explained to Brian to maintain a neutral facial expression so as to avoid inadvertently causing emotional responding in the child if her perceives Brian to be frustrated.
